Obituary
Mae Bernadine Jeffries, 74, of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Thursday, (January 24, 2013) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on March 29, 1938 in Hardin County, KY, the daughter of the late Willie and Edith (Miller) Howard.
She enjoyed walking and loved to fish and swim.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Hawkins of Big Clifty, KY, a son, Charles Edward Jeffries of Clarkson, KY, three sisters, Norma Jeffries, Ramona Howard and Deanna Skees all of big Clifty, three brothers, Wayne and William Vance Howard both of Big Clifty, and Edward Howard of Vine Grove, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Daisy Wilkenson, a brother Huel Howard and a sister Hazel Howard.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, (January 27, 2013) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home after 3:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
