Margaret (Peggy) Ketterer, age 75, of Leitchfield, KY, formerly of Louisville, KY, passed away Tuesday, (April 8, 2008) at the Hospice inpatient Unit at Norton's Hospital Pavilion in Louisville, KY.
She was born on May 15, 1932, in Louisville KY, the daughter of Jack and Esther Hickey Durham. She was a retired manager and bookeeper for the All Saints' Episcopal Center; she also formerly held positions with Southwest Hospital, the National Distillery of Louisville, treasurer of the water board of Leitchfield, H & R Block, Lowe's Concrete and a teacher at St. Timothy.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Ketterer of Leitchfield, her sister, Martha Warman, her children, Ronald Ketterer (Janet), Richard Ketterer (Cathy), Pamela Chester (Dennis) all of Louisville, Robert Ketterer (Lisa) of Columbus, Indiana, and Patricia Freeland (Shane) of Benton, KY, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren, as well as her pet companion, Sabrina.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. CST Friday (April 11, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. There will also be a memorial Mass at the St. Paul Church at 6901 Dixie Hwy. in Louisville on Monday (April 14, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. EST.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Friday.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice inpatient unit at Norton's Hospital Pavilion in Louisville.
