Obituary
Margaret VanMeter, age 69, of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Tuesday, (October 9, 2012) at the Springview Nursing Home and Rehab in Leitchfield, Kentucky.
She was born on July 4, 1943 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Everett Tomes and Pauline VanMeter.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her companion, Mike Felty, special friends, Joyce Felty, Gail Lampton (Elbert) and Lisa Mudd (Darrell) a special sister-in-law, Peggy VanMeter, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (October 12, 2012) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Howard Decker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mulberry Flats Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
