Obituary

Marguerite Woosley Wilson, age 93, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (July 16, 2011) in Elizabethtown, KY.

She was born on December 10, 1917, in, Grancer, Butler County, KY, the daughter of Fieldon and Beulah Embry Woosley. She was a retired teacher, with a Master's Degree from Western Kentucky University, a member of the Grayson County Retired Teachers' Association, Delta Kappa Gamma, Grayson County Homemakers, and was a member of the Caneyville Christian Church.

She is survived by two sons, Roye and Woodrow Wilson; two daughters, Rose Marie Fort and Ruth Ann Fentress; one brother, James Reed Woosley; ten grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday (July 18, 2011) at the Caneyville Christian Church in Caneyville. Bro. David Brown will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday only and at the Caneyville Christian Church from 1:00 p.m. Monday until time of services.
