Obituary
Marie (Granny) Woolen, age 90, of Olaton, KY, passed away Monday (October 6, 2008) at the Ohio County Hospital.
She was born on November 29,1917, in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of Edgar & Janie Decker Lambert.
She is survived by one son, Willard (Jonelle) Woolen of Olaton, 3 grandchildren Jason & Nick Woolen & Christinia St. Clair, 3 great grandchildren, 1 sister Maurine Wilson of Louisville. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter Kathleen Stewart, 2 brothers, Randall and Lewis "Buster" Lambert and 1 sister Mildred "Midgee" Woolen.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday (October 9, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Mike Taylor will be officiating. Burial is in the Shiloh Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
