Obituary
Marie Lammers age 79, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (July 6, 2008) at the Springview Nursing & Rehab center in Leitchfield.
She was born on July 10, 1928 in Grayson County KY, the daughter of Chester and Hallie Newton Cockriel.
She is survived by four children, Roger & (Brenda) Mercer, Velma & (Kevin) Kirchner, Brenda & (Bob) Adams and Randall & (Addie) Mercer all of Leitchfield, KY., 22 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Ray Mercer, one daughter Hazel Hill, two sisters, Eva Fields and Ruby King and one brother, Coy Cockriel.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (July 9, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Edward Cockriel will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday (July 8, 2008)
