Marilyn Jean Davis, age 77 , of Brownsville, KY, passed away Thursday, (October 27, 2022) at Norton Downtown in Louisville, KY.

She was born on July 01, 1945 in Brownsville, KY, the daughter of the late Cecil and Helen Warnell Alexander.

She and her husband, Winston, founded and operated the Farmer's Feedmill Restaurant in Leitchfield. She was a former Sunday School teacher and lifelong member of the Sunny Point General Baptist Church, who enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Jill Davis Blankenship (Marion) of Brownsville, KY; one grandchild, Kyle Blankenship (Tyra) also of Brownsville; six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Kartyr, Noah, Joslyn, Ruby & Winston; and one brother Victor Alexander (Joyce). Several loving brothers and sister in laws, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Winston Davis; two sons, Martin Lee and Darren Davis; and 16 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (November 3, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sunny Point Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
