Marion Wilbur Huff, age 83, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Monday, (July 24, 2023) at his home in Caneyville, KY.

He was born on November 27, 1939 in Caneyville, KY, the son of the late Ambers and Verbal Bratcher Huff.

After graduating from Caneyville High, he moved to Louisville to pursue a career with Emro Marketing, where he retired as a maintenance technician in 1994. There are three things he would make sure he did daily, read the Bible, play his guitar and call his sister, Barbara Gardner. Barbara was not only his sister and caretaker, but his best-friend. Marion had a love for music and had many titles including dad, pops, papaw and boss. He loved being a papaw and spent a lot of time with his boys, Trevor and Austin. He was a member of the Falls of Rough Baptist Church.

He is survived by his three sons, Anthony Huff (Sheri), Eric Huff (Cindy), David Huff (Melissa); one daughter, Fran Hallahan (James); ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Ambers Ray Huff; and two sisters, Barbara Gardner and Martha Payton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Matthew Anthony Huff and Tiffany Sheree Huff; two brother-in-law's, Howard Gardner and Warren Payton.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m.  Sunday, (July 30, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Roger Allen will be officiating. Burial will be in the Deweese Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Sunday until time of services.
