Mark Carter Milam, age 84, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Saturday, (July 14, 2018) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on May 1, 1934 in Chenoa, IL, the son of the late Mark Twain and Eunice Carter Milam.
He was a farmer, a truck driver, and a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Teamsters Union #89 and attended the Cumberland Presbyterian Hollow Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Dionne Milam of Bowling Green, KY and Gayle Milam of Louisville, KY; a sister, Margaret (Jerry) Campbell of Tuscola, IL; and two sister-in-laws, Dona Milam and Betty Milam, both of Falls of Rough. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Robert and Bruce Milam; and two sisters, Carol Milam Sanders and Lois Milam Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. CST Wednesday, (July 18, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Richard Harrison will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST Tuesday (July 17, 2018) and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
