Mark Thomas Napier, age 64, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Tuesday, (July 8, 2025) at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on July 8, 1961 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Thomas Harrison Napier and Anna Corinne Prewitt.

He enjoyed bird watching, reading, studying the Bible, and watching nature shows. A true history buff and Bigfoot fanatic, he was also a survival specialist who loved collecting knives and guns. He was a member of the Kentucky Army National Guard and a member of New Life Assembly of God.

He is survived by his daughter, Roseanna Napier (Andrew Battista) of Auckland, New Zealand; two sisters, Debbie Pierce (James) of Leitchfield and Vickie Miller of Madrid; brother, Greg Napier (Ashley) of Leitchfield; and his former wife, Sherry Napier McClure. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Freda Cook Napier; daughter, Deanna Napier; sister, Linda Gibson; brother-in-law, Ricky Miller; and two lifelong friends, Rick Pawley and Robert Oliver.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 15, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Tony Redmond will be officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
