Mark Alan Roof, age 29, of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Wednesday, (February 2, 2016) at his residence.

He was born on September 2, 1986 in Elizabethtown, KY, the son of Delbert and Deborah Kay Sutton Roof.

Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his guitar, shooting his gun and hanging out with friends and attended the Liberty Chapel Church.

He is survived by his parents, Delbert and Deborah Roof, his maternal grandparents, Howard and Shirley Sutton of Hudson KY and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Hilma Roof.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (February 5, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Eddie Cockrell will be officiating. Burial will be in the Summit Methodist Cemetery.

Visitation will at the Dermitt Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
