Obituary
Martha Jo Cooper, age 91, of Fairfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (October 17, 2020) at her residence.
She was born on September 24, 1929 in Leitchfield, Kentucky the daughter of the late Howard and Irene Gore Minton.
She worked in public relations for Spalding College and enjoyed gardening, reading, raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. She graduated from Caneyville High School.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Cooper (Peggy) of Fairfield and Paul Cooper (Kathy) of Mississippi; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Essie Cooper, grandchild, Nikki Cooper and two sisters, Bette Huffman and Peggy Woosley.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. CST Tuesday, (October 20, 2020) at Fairview Cemetery in Leitchfield.
