Obituary
Martha June Hayes, age 91, of Leitchfield, KY, (formerly of Weslaco, Texas) passed away Saturday, (April 8, 2017) at her home in Leitchfield.
She was born on January 05, 1926 in Craik, Saskatchewan, Canada, the daughter of the late Dallas and Hazel Murray Harrison.
She was an administrative assistant who enjoyed watching game shows, playing bingo and pinochle, and fishing.
She is survived by two sons, Sidney D. Hayes (Linda) of Georgetown, Texas and Bill Hayes (Bev) of Falls of Rough, KY; a daughter, Barbara Ann Browne (Dave) of Pearland, TX. Six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney M Hayes and a grandson, Christopher Hayes.
Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, (April 13, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jacob McClure will be officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, TX.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. on Thursday until time of services.
