Martha (Jeannie) Woodcock, age 59, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Sunday, (February 11, 2007) at her home in Caneyville.

She was born, August 9, 1947 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of Hurley and Lucy Kennison McCombs. She was a member of the Mt. Gilead Pentecostal Church in Breckinridge County.

She worked along side of her husband John with years of faithful service in taking care of yards and cemeteries around the county along with grave opening and closings with Scott Woosley and the Dermitt Funeral Homes and others in the surrounding counties.

She is survived by her husband, John Woodcock of Caneyville, three daughters, Faye Coomer of Caneyville, Debbie Rhodes and Brenda Rancehart both of Louisville. one son, Carl Wayne McCombs of Caneyville, three sisters, Stella Logsdon of McDaniels, Bonnie Higdon of Leitchfield and Mary McCombs of Caneyville, two brothers, Honkie McCombs of Shrewsbury and Billy McCombs of Leitchfield and thirteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bobby and Freddie McCombs.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (February 14, 2007) at the Mt. Gilead Pentecostal Church in Breckinridge County. Bro. Gary Ford and Bro. Marvin Dotson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Woodcock cemetery in Caneyville.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville after 12:00 noon Monday and after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Mt. Gilead Pentecostal Church in Breckinridge County, and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mt. Gilead Pentecostal Church building fund.
