Obituary
Marty Dale Childress, age 49, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (August 10, 2011) at his residence.
He was born on July 13, 1962, in Illinois, the son of Pat and Nellie Mae Davis Childress. He was a Fabricator for Extreme Fabrication.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Roof Childress, one daughter, Molly Mae Childress of Leitchfield, his mother, Nell Childress of Leitchfield, two brothers, Clyde and Warren Childress both of Leitchfield, five nephews and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Pat and his sister, Julie Decker.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday (August 13, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Mike Cannon will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Teresa Childress.
