Marty Whobrey, age 58, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (January 31, 2020) as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born on January 19, 1962 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of Leonard Whobrey and the late Virginia Stewart Whobrey.

He enjoyed going to church, hanging with friends and was a UK fan, and was a member of the Sunny Point General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his father, Leonard Whobrey of Leitchfield, two sisters, Pamela Whobrey and Peggy Carroll (Sonny) both of Leitchfield, one niece and one nephew, Angela Scott and Michael Carroll and four great nieces also survive.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, (February 3, 2020) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Damon Lasley will be officiating. Burial will be in the South Union Cemetery

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
