Marvin Wayne Cook, age 45, of Caneyville KY, passed away Sunday, (June 7, 2009) at his home.
He was born on September 4, 1963, in Leitchfield, KY, the son of Floyd and Bessie Oller Cook. He was a farm manager for Otis Bryant and Son and was a member of the Caneyville Baptist Church.
He is survived by wife, Loretta Payton Cook, four sons, Samuel Jacob, Perry Dayne, and Michael Wayne (Fawn) Cook and Adam Layman all of Caneyville, two daughters, Sarah Logsdon (James) of Clarkson, KY and Mary Ann Layman of Caneyville, his parents, Floyd and Bessie Cook of Caneyville, two brothers, Tony Ray (Dee Dee) and Rick Lee (Linda) Cook both of Caneyville, his grandchildren, Damien and Brooklynn Cook and Leeland Scott Logsdon, his nieces and nephews, Alicia, Emelene, Amanda, Anthony, Bud and Tylor Cook.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. (June 10, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Phillip Langdon will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
