Marvin E. Duvall, age 67, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Wednesday, (September 27, 2017) at his home.
He was born on September 10, 1950 in Bee Spring, KY, the son of the late Walton and Vannie Russell Duvall.
He was a truck driver for Averitt Express who enjoyed riding horses, working on old cars and raising his garden. He was a member of the New Salem General Baptist Church and the American Legion Post 81.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Whobrey Duvall of Clarkson, KY; a daughter, Sherry Fruend (Brad) of Flora, IL; three grandchildren, Lily, Emily and Molly Fruend; three stepsons, Andy Logsdon (Pam) of Clarkson, KY, Jamie Logsdon (April) and Paul Strange (Chasity) both of Leitchfield, KY; a stepdaughter, Paula Lambert (Justin) of Radcliff, KY; 11 step-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren (and one on the way); a brother, Monty Duvall (Ann) of Bee Spring; several nieces and nephews; one uncle, Johnny Russell (Judy) of Bee Spring, and a son-in-law, Tommy Meredith of Mammoth Cave, KY also survives.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Meredith, and his first wife, Sue Simon Duvall.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, (October 1, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Paul Strange and Daniel Oller will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery in Sunfish.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
