Obituary
Mary Ann Arnold "Maw" Wheatley, age 79, of Radcliff, KY, formerly of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (June 13, 2011) at the North Hardin Health and Rehab in Radcliff, KY.
She was born on February 28, 1932, the daughter of the late William Francis Sr. and Lillie Jane Layman Mudd. She was a retired dispatcher for Grayson County E 911.
She is survived by seven children, Otis Arnold Jr., Julia Arnold Thurman and John Arnold all of Elizabethtown, KY, Billy Arnold of Atlanta GA, Mickey Arnold of Sturgis, KY, Betty Staples of Fordsville, KY and Lou West of Canada, her grandchildren, Billy Cann, Jr., Mandy Miller, Mickey Arnold Jr, Christopher Arnold, Gina Arnold, Josh Arnold, Shelbi Arnold, Aaron Arnold, Michael Otis Arnold, Jimmy Staples, Debbie Mattingly, Dennis Staples and Dereck Staples, her great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Brooklyn Cann and Austin Miller.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (June 16, 2011) at the Layman Memorial Cemetery in Caneyville.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST Wednesday with a memorial service to follow from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Dr. Dereck Staples is officiating the services.
