Mary Lou Sutton Bird, age 75, of Webster, FL, passed away Sunday, (April 29, 2018) in Florida.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Elzie Ray Bird and beloved daughter, Kelli Sue Bird. She is also survived by sisters, Bobbye (Gordon) Bird of Leitchfield, KY and Susan (Robert) Tabb, of West Chester, OH; and brother, James A. (Cherie) Sutton of Sergeant Bluff, IA. Four nieces and one nephew also survive.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one nephew.

She resided in Louisville, KY, until her retirement when she moved to Leitchfield, KY, spending winters in Webster, FL. She retired after 25 years from GE Appliance Park, Louisville, KY, and was a loyal member of IUE Local 761. She was active in human rights, serving as the former president in PFlag of Louisville, KY; where she leaves many close and loving friends. She also leaves loving friends, Tom and Colleen Maher and Tom and Joyce Wilbanks of Webster, FL, and Debbie Decker of Leitchfield, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. CST Saturday, (May 5, 2018) at Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Jimmy Bratcher will be officiating. Burial will be in Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
