Mary Allison Eaton, age 46, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (October 23, 2026) at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY.

She was born on July 18, 1980 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Ella Joyce Patterson Sheffield and the late Craig Thomas Sheffield.

She worked in food service and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, coloring, and playing games on her phone. She attended the Church of Joy.

She is survived by her children, Johnny Eaton Jr., Samantha, Ally, Ellis, Ella, Haley and Brianna Eaton; five grandchildren, Samaya Dotson, Legacy & Sophia Brown, Karson Eaton & Granger Hartman; a brother, Craig Sheffield; her mother, Ella Sheffield and her grandmother, Alice Patterson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Sheffield; her maternal grandfather, Marvin S. Patterson; and her paternal grandparents, Herbert and Mary Sheffield.

Joint funeral services with her brother, Robert Sheffield, will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (October 28, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Lowe will be officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
