Obituary
Mary Emma Jarboe, age 65, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (November 30, 2016) at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on April 8, 1951 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late James and Mary Mingus Portman.
She was a home-maker, who loved all animals and was kind to all people. She was a member of the Grayson County Home-makers, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Lavada Mingus of Leitchfield; step-sister, Happy Hutson of Alaska; and daughter-in-law, Kim Penner Jarboe.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ike Jarboe, and grandson, Chris King.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (December 2, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Rev. Tony Bickett will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of service.
