Mary Gladys Hazelwood, age 83 , of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Wednesday, (February 06, 2008) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

She was born on August 05, 1924 in Nelson County KY, the daughter of Ivo and Emma Louise Hollis Newton. She was a member of Lone Star Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, James Wayne (Pat) McDonald of Bardstown, Bethel Jr. (Alicia) Hazelwood of Caneyville; two daughters, Judy Ann (Johnny) Norman of New Haven, and Mary Louise Hazelwood (Terry) of Upton; six brothers Bernard, Freddy (Shirley), Joe (Anna Belle) Mickey (Judy), and Lee (Beverly) all of New Haven , and Felix (Kay) of Hodgensville; three sisters, Agnes Newton, and Mildred (Mike) Masterson all of New Haven, and Elizabeth (Johnny) Woolen of Frankfort; ten grandchildren, two step grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren, five step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bethel Glen Hazelwood Sr., her parents, and two sisters Sue and Dot.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (February 07, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Brian Gregory will be officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service.
