Mary Katherine Harrel, age 84, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Monday, (December 2, 2019) at Springview Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on October 13, 1935 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Charlie and Verna England Porter.

She was a beautician who enjoyed flowers, gardening and spending time outside and was a member of the Yeaman Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Steven Litsey of Caneyville; 4 grandchildren, Stefanie Litsey, Michael Litsey, Brad Farris, Heather Ralph; 6 great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Debbie and Patty.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Harrel; her first husband Jerry Litsey; a son, Kevin Litsey; a daughter, Rebecca Foreman and a sister Joyce Porter.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (December 6, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in Leitchfield Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
