Obituary
Mary Charletta Hazelwood, age 39, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (December 3, 2017) at Norton's Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on August 07, 1978 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of Larry Akridge and the late Cloretta Herdt Gibson.
She was a housewife who enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Clarkson Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Cliff Hazelwood of Leitchfield, a son, Matthew Goben of Leitchfield; a daughter, Tamara Goben of Leitchfield, a brother, Brian Akridge of Big Clifty, KY and a sister, Amanda Akridge of Leitchfield; her father, Larry Akridge (Vanda) of Big Clifty, KY; paternal grandparents, Jim and Charlene Akridge of Leitchfield; her mother-in-law Margie Hazelwood of Leitchfield. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Other than her mother, she was preceded in death by a niece, Savanna Crawford; and her maternal grandparents, Mac and Iva Gibson.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (December 5, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jimmy Douthitt will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of donations to assist with funeral expenses.
