Mary G. King, age 85 , of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away Saturday, (February 1, 2020) at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on March 28, 1934 in Grayson County, KY.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her daughter, Marilyn. She attended of the Blowtown General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Murrell King (Melissa) of Leitchfield, KY, David Wayne King of Millwood, KY, Wesley King of Shrewsbury, KY, Lesley King of Clarkson, KY and Jeff King; eight grandchildren; one step-grandchild, Kayla Lyons; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Higdon of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph King; a daughter, Marilyn Gail King; a brother, Jim Higdon; and a sister, Betty Higdon Pruitt.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, (February 2, 2020) at the Shrewsbury Cemetery.
