Mary Rose Lasley, age 95, of Louisville, KY, passed away Tuesday, (December 5, 2023) in Louisville, KY.

She was born on April 9, 1928 in Girard, IL the daughter of the late Jeremy and Jewell Gillon Robertson.

She was a homemaker who loved going to church with her husband, Arvil and she also loved to go on walks. She married her late husband, Arvil Lasley on August 23, 1947.  Mary Rose was of the Holiness faith.

She is survived by her sons, Geary Lasley (Charlotte) of LaGrange, KY and Timmy Lasley (Donna) of Greenwood, IN; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Brenda Downs and Delores Stevens; four brothers, Charles, Allen, Jerry, Jr., and Kenneth Robertson; six sisters, Lula Bell Johnson, Shirley Robertson, Gladys Johnson, Betty Ashley, Dorothy Whobrey and Virginia Johnson.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, (December 13, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Nathan Lowe will be officiating. Burial will be in the Scott Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of services.
