Obituary

Mary (Lori) Lindsey, 54, of Leitchfield, passed away Sunday, January 4th, 2026 in Louisville, KY.

She was born on August 3rd, 1971 in Grayson County, the daughter of the late Rollie and Stella Stevenson Lindsey.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was loved and will be greatly missed. She also enjoyed going to yard sales in search of a bargain, playing Bingo and was an avid gambler.

She is survived by her sister Shelly Lindsey (Robert) of Leitchfield; three special nieces, Beth (Cody), Sylvia, and Missy; two great-nephews, Karter and Kash; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Lane, Isaac (Christa), Kassidy, Kolby, Whaylon, Paige, Aubree, and Isabella; four great-grandchildren, Waylon, Willow, Ashlyn, Allie; a partner for several years, Timmy Hayes, along with three adoring children, Timbo, Misty, and Tiffany; a mother-in-law Revona Hayes, and her loving dog Daisy Mae.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son whom she loved so much, Dalton Paul who departed this life on August 27, 2011.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Scott Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on January 7th until time of services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
