Mary Louise Logsdon Lasley, age 85, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (January 02, 2026) at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield.
She was born on July 08, 1940 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Dewey Hobson and Sylvia Ann Haycraft Logsdon.
A homemaker and a housewife, Mary was also a dedicated volunteer with the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary with more than 1800 hours of service to the hospital. She enjoyed sewing, painting, visiting with friends, and spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of the Antioch General Baptist Church for more than 70 years.
She is survived by her sons, Damon Richard Lasley Jr. (JoAnna) of Upton & Derrick Lynn Lasley (Deanna) of Leitchfield; her daughter, Mona Gail Fulkerson (David) also of Leitchfield; 11 grandchildren, Kyle Fulkerson, Korey Fulkerson, Krista Salsman, Kelci Fisher, Damon Richard Lasley III, Craig Lasley, Amanda, Daniel & Mariah Lasley, and Deranne & Dax Lasley; 16 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Roberta Brooks (Joe) & Elsie Sapp (Dee) both of Clarkson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Damon Richard Lasley Sr.; a son, Dewey Alvin Lasley; two daughters-in law Kathy Lasley & Sandy Lasley; seven brothers, Hubert, Leo, James, Cletus, Herbert, Clarence & Otto Logsdon; a sister, Sally Green, and four infant sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (January 05, 2026) at the Antioch General Baptist Church in Clarkson. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and at the Antioch General Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Antioch General Baptist Church.
