Obituary
Mary Faustine Mudd, age 74, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (March 12, 2010) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on September 16, 1935 in Ready, KY, the daughter of Ambrose "Dude" and Lillie Raymer Cook. She was a retired social worker for the State of Kentucky and a former member of the Rabbit Flat General Baptist Church and presently the Leitchfield First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky of Glasgow, KY and Micky (Becky) Mudd of Leitchfield, one sister, Velma Jean Allen of Hutchins, KS, one brother, Rev. Harold Cook of Leitchfield and six grandchildren, Beth Jessie, Eric, Presley, Mallory, Charlie and Allison Mudd, one great grandson Dalton Joe Jessie and a special friend, Hayward Edwards. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Mudd, a daughter-in-law, Nancy Povey Mudd and a grandchild, Chelsey Mudd.
Funeral services will be Monday (March 15, 2010) at 1:00 p.m. at the Rabbit Flat General Baptist Church. Bro. Dewey Baker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Rabbit Flat Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 12:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon Monday.
