Obituary
Mary Jane Ray Logsdon, age 89, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Monday, (January 08, 2018) at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.
She was born on December 22, 1928 in Edmonson County, KY, the daughter of James Washington and Myrtle Priddy Ray.
She was a member of the Baptist faith who enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, watching her grandchildren and cooking for her family.
She is survived by her sons, Micheal Logsdon (Laura) of Arp, Texas and Byron Logsdon (Sandra) of Clarkson, KY; a daughter-in-law, Alice Logsdon of Clarkson; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren: two brothers, James Ray of Leitchfield and Tommy Ray of Clarkson; two sisters, Willa Dean Tate and Aline Stewart, both of Leitchfield.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Logsdon; a son Dennie Logsdon; two brothers, Roma and Henry Ray; and a sister, Dot Logsdon.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, (January 13, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Junior Lasley will be officiating. Burial will be in the Logsdon Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
