Mary Frances Tucker, age 90, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (September 24, 2026) at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield.

She was born on February 10, 1936 in Columbia, KY, the daughter of the late Ray and Myrtie Karnes Curry.

She was a homemaker and a cook at Ben Johnson School who enjoyed word puzzles, gardening, making coasters, being around animals and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her brothers, William Louis Curry (Barb) of Illinois, Jerry Curry (Brenda) of Wisconsin, Howard Curry of Illinois, Michael Curry (Christine) of Illinois, Charles Curry (Marsha) of Leitchfield; sisters, Sharon Gray of Illinois, Betty Humphres (James) of Illinois, Joan Cunningham of Illinois, Deloris Parrent of Illinois, and Linda Augustus of Illinois; Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews & great-great nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Junior Tucker; a brother, Sammie Ray Curry; and five sisters, Gladys Blankenship, Mayrine Powell, June Preston Curry, Carolyn Curry and Juanita Karnes.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, (October 2, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Nathan Lowe will be officiating. Burial will be in the Coyle Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
