James Matthew Luke Hall, age 42, of Hudson, KY, passed away Saturday, (October 16, 2021) at Baptist Health in Louisville, KY.

He was born on December 5, 1978 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of James Hall and Alberta Brooks Montross.

He was the owner and operator of Throw Down Maintenance and Renovation and enjoyed playing music, riding motorcycles, boating, working on cars and spending time with his family. He attended the Church of Joy.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Lucas Hall; his children, Aaron, Haley & Addilynn Hall, and Amber, Autumn & Owen Horn; his father, James Hall; his mother, Alberta Brooks Montross; 11 brothers & sisters, Jill Hall Johnson, Jason Hall (Devon), Jamie Hall Brown (Dustin), Jacob Holderman, Joshua Holderman (Brooklynn), Jennifer Richardson (Dennis), James Hall Jr. (Michelle), Joanie Bitsky, Justin Hall (Jayme), Cody James Hall (Taylor) & Jacey Hall. His paternal grandfather, Harold Hall, and several nieces and nephews and also survive.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frances Hall & Luke and Lizzie Mae Brooks.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (October 23, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Nathan Lowe will be officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
