Matthew David Roof, 33, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Sunday, (March 9, 2008) in Butler Co.
He was born on July 28, 1974, in Elizabethtown, KY the son of Carl and Cynthia Williams Roof. He was a construction worker and a member of the Leitchfield Church of God.
He is survived by his wife Samantha, two sons, Dathan Matthew Meredith of Bowling Green, KY and Cody David Roof of Clarkson, KY,one stepdaughter Anasthasia, his mother, Cindy Beardmore (Joe) of Clarkson, his father, Carl David Roof (Pam) of Big Clifty, KY, his sisters, Carle Roof of Leitchfield and Savanna Roof of Big Clifty, his grandmother, Geneva Williams of Leitchfield and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eugene Williams and his paternal grandparents, Jessie and Mable Roof.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (March 12, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Anthony Pierce will be officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
