Max Leroy Sparks, age 80, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday, (September 12, 2015) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on July 3, 1935 in Greene County, IN, the son of the late Alfred and Delphia Ann Arthur.
He was a retired machine operator for Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis, IN. His favorite hobby was mowing and maintaining his yard.
He is survived by three daughters, Grace Yaden (Eddie) of Short Creek, KY, Teresa Ellis Russ) of North Vernon, IN and Pam Ball (Dan) of Leitchfield, two sons, Leroy Sparks of Louisville, KY and David Sparks of Bargersville, IN, eight grandchildren, Chris and Jason Yaden, Donnie VanMeter, Joshua and Ashley Sparks, James, Amber and Alisha Ball and ten great grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Ann Weddle Sparks, a granddaughter, Christina Yaden, three brothers, Wilbur, George and David Sparks, and two sisters, Mina Carol Tinsley and Barbara Kirkley.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. (EDT) Monday, (September 14, 2015) at the Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington, IN.
