Maxine Hack, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (March 25, 2012) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield, Kentucky.

She was born on March 30, 1931, in Ohio County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William P. and Eva Ashby Riley. She was a retired assembly line worker for Vermont American. She loved spending time with her family, looking through family photos, gardening, growing her flowers, and participating in activities at the Senior Citizens building. She attended New Hope (Sadler) General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Hack, Sr. of Leitchfield; one daughter, Carolyn "Susie" McGrew (Darrell) of Clarkson; five sons, Roy Jr. (Vickie) of La Otto, IN, David (Ruth) of Roanoke, IN, Terry (Kathy) of Fort Wayne, IN, George (Judy) of Leitchfield, and Roger (Mary Anne) of Leitchfield; one daughter-in-law, Sherry Akers of Big Clifty; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Billie Jean McGrew of IN.

Other than parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dickie Lee Hack, two brothers, Charles Edward Riley, and Elbert Adrian Riley, three sisters, Claire Lee Riley, Morein Clockgold, and Beatrice Browning.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (March, 29, 2012) at the New Harmony United Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons and Bro. Wayne Napier will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Harmony Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday (March 28, 2012) and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
