Michael David Creekmore, age 27, of Louisville, KY, passed away Tuesday, (April 10, 2018) in Cloverdale, Indiana.

He was born on June 28, 1990, in Louisville, KY, the son of John Michael Creekmore and Sheila Weilage Higgs.

He was a former employee of Home Depot. He was a sport fanatic, who enjoyed watching the River Bats, UK basketball and boxing (especially Mohamed Ali).

He is survived by his mother, Sheila Weilage Higgs of Leitchfield, and his father, John Michael Creekmore of Texas; siblings, Jordan, Bradyn, and Jaxon Higgs and all of Leitchfield and Brittany Creekmore of Louisville; grandparents, Patsy and Timmy Henderson of Breckinridge County; aunts, Angela Bevin, Paula Noe and Erin Ross; uncles, Brian Weilage and Troy Weilage; several cousins, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Paul and Kathy Creekmore and David Weilage.

Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, (April 21, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Kyle Blankenship will be officiating. Cremation was chosen.

The family will receive friends at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. on Saturday until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
