Michael Darren Hunt, age 58, of Gilbertsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, (April 9, 2024) at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on June 2, 1965 in Ft. Hood, TX, the son of Josephine Blanche McCrady Kendrick and the late Raymond Lee Hunt.

He was a Retired Truck Driver who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, loved kids and playing guitar.

He is survived by his mother, Blanche McCrady Kendrick; fiancé, Diane Bluckey; and two brothers, Gregory and Christopher Hunt. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive.

Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, William Kendrick; two sisters, Debbie and Rhonda; and his maternal grandparents, J.C and Maud McCrady.

The Hunt family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, (April 12, 2024) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.
