Michael Lynn Logsdon Sr., age 65, of Kilgore, TX (formerly of Clarkson, KY), passed away Thursday, (February 11, 2021) in Scottsdale, Arizona.

He was born on February 26, 1955 in Fort Knox, KY, the son of the late Cletus and Mary Jane Ray Logsdon.

A Veteran of the U.S. Army, Michael proudly served his country in the Vietnam Era. He was a truck driver who enjoyed riding his motorcycle and advocating for Veteran's causes, and was a dedicated member of the Patriot Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Logsdon; three sons, Michael Lynn Logsdon Jr. (Barbara), Craig Logsdon (Lindsey), and Frank John Nerad V (Bethany); five grandchildren, Harrison, Diana, Christopher, Maddison, and Frank John VI; and a brother, Byron Logsdon (Sandra). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennie Logsdon.

A Graveside Service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (February 22, 2021) at the Logsdon Cemetery.

A Memorial of Life service will be held at Grace Baptist Church Hall in Kilgore, Texas on Sunday, March 14, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Masks covering the nose and mouth are required for those in attendance.
