Michael Scott Pearl, age 48, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (May 6, 2010) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on September 25, 1961 in Grayson County, KY, the son of Jack and Carolyn Carman Pearl.

He is survived by his parents, Jack and Carolyn Pearl of Leitchfield, one brother, Charles (Becki) of Leitchfield, one sister, Lisa Pearl (Roark) of Clarkson, KY, a niece and nephew, Danielle and Jonah Roark both of Clarkson, a step nephew and niece, Thomas Jarboe of California and Jessica Jarboe Logsdon (Chad) of Lexington, KY and his fiancé, Brenda West of Leitchfield and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ethyl and Charlie Pearl and Frances and Ova Lee Carman.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (May 8, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. J. H. Manion will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
