Michael Shawver, age 32, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (May 13, 2015) in McDaniels, KY.
He was born on March 24, 1983 in Louisville, KY.
He enjoyed swimming, music, being on his cellphone, playing X-Box games, all his friends, and his dogs, Baby Girl and Chevy.
He is survived by his mom and dad, Bettie Lou and Arthur Adkins; two children, Bentley, and Annastasia Shawver; sister, Elizabeth Bowers and her husband, Chris, of Louisville; two nieces, Ashley and Siera; nephew, Josh, and great-nephew, Keyden; grandparents, Raye Hall and Joanne; best friends, Austin Aubrey and Jeremy Riggs; many aunts and uncles; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Elizabeth Hoffman, and Ralph and Betty Marie Rogers; and his dogs, Rebel and Dozier.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, (May 18, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
Expressions of sympathy can take the form of donations to help with the funeral expenses.
