Michael Gerard White, age 50, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (September 9, 2026) at Owensboro Regional Health in Owensboro, KY.

He was born on August 19, 1976 in Bowling Green, KY, the son of the late Charles H. and Lillian Hultz White.

A former employee at Communicare, he enjoyed watching TV and movies (especially on the Hallmark Channel), coloring, painting, bowling, listening to music and all things UK Basketball. Michael was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church.

He is survived by three brothers, John White (Wendy), Charlie White, & Kerry White (Victoria); and three sisters, Joyce Johnson (Edward), Veronica Gibson (Henry Basham) & Laura Hughes (Greg). Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane White .

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (September 18, 2026) at the Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Grayson Springs. Father Brian Johnson and Father Paschal Umoh will be officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until 10:30 a.m., at which time we will move to the church for services.

A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Dermitt Funeral Home.
