Obituary
Mildred Corine Allen, age 79, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Friday, (August 22, 2008) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born on September 14, 1928, in Grayson County KY, the daughter of the late Rector and Irene Carter Decker. She was a housewife and was a member of the Church of Christ at Yeaman.
She is survived by her husband, Sol Allen, three daughters, Kathy and Jeanette Allen both of Louisville and Patricia Allen of Dallas, TX, and one sister, Anna Lee Porter of Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Edward Allen.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday (August 25, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Yeaman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
