Obituary
Mildred Irene Farris, age 77, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Wednesday, (September 12, 2007) at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.
She was born on April 8, 1930, in Grayson County KY, the daughter of William Gobel and Fannie Catherine Howard Clubb.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Farris, her daughter, Brenda Royalty (David) of Caneyville, four sisters, Edith Langdon, Willa Mae Hack and Katie Jo Poteet all of Louisville, KY and Imogene Hixson of Rineyville, KY, two grandchildren, Stacey Brothers and Jeremy Royalty both of Caneyville, one step-grandchild, Christy Griffin of Hendersonville, TN, one great grandchild, Camden Brothers and four step great grandchildren, Kathleen, Baylee, Chandler and Lawson Griffin.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (September 16, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jerry Weedman will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
