Mildred L. Gatterdam, age 88, of Louisville, KY, passed away Wednesday, (December 26, 2018) at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on February 14, 1930 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late John and Lula Hooper Blackerby.

She was a housewife and a member of Elizabethtown Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, and an avid student of the Bible.

She is survived by her two sons, Steven (Diana) and Ric (Connie) Gatterdam of Louisville, Ky; a daughter, Deborah Durham (Michael) of Leitchfield; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Lusch of Louisville, Ky.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin C. Gatterdam, and a brother, Dennis Blackerby.

Private burial was held in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
