Obituary
Mildred Muffett, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (December 22, 2010) in Leitchfield.
She was born on July 13, 1928, in Ohio Co., KY, the daughter of the late Nurge B. and Corena Goff Ferguson. She was a retired aide at Grayson Manor, a caregiver for the elderly, a member of the Antioch Church of Christ, and attended the Hanging Rock Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Fouch (Dwayne) of Leitchfield, two grandchildren, Chris Fouch and Kelly Justis (Shannon) both of Leitchfield, two great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Cooper and several nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Muffett, four brothers, Willard, Clayton, Alfred and her twin, Millard Ferguson, three sisters, Lovie Allen, Mary Sanders, and an infant sister Little Norma.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday (December 27, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jimmy Macintosh will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, KY.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
