Mildred Elizabeth Rogalinski, age 99, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (May 21, 2017) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

She was born on September 3, 1917 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of the late Esther Schimpf.

She was in management in the shoe manufacturing industry. She enjoyed flowers, was a member of the Grayson County – Thomas Homemakers club, a volunteer for the Twin Lakes Auxiliary for over 30 years, loved to sew, and was an avid reader. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church.

She is survived by her step-children, Charles Rogalinski (Sandy) of Louisville, David Rogalinski (Diane) of Louisville, Kathryn Mullins of Louisville, Jane Salaices (Art) of Roseville, California, and Janet Hellman (Steve) of O'fallon Illinois; special friends, Danny and Phyllis Payne, Sue Albright, Jane Sitton, Shelia Page, Debbie, Sandy Brickner and a host of many other friends.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Woodrow Cook, Wirt Hacker, Charles Rogalinski, her grandparents, Theodore and Rosena Schimpf, and step-daughter, Mary Jo Dobson.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, (May 25, 2017) at the St. Joseph Catholic church in Leitchfield. Father Tony Bickett will be officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, (May 24, 2017).
