Obituary
Mildred Shaw, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (June 18, 2011) at the Springview Health and Rehab Center in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on December 29, 1928, in Butler County, KY, the daughter of the late Willie and Mamie Rae Embry Dockery. She was retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Shaw of Leitchfield; two sons, Kindle Ray Kessinger and Terry Wayne Kessinger, both of Louisville; one daughter, Wyvonne Kettlehake of Newnan, GA; one brother, Clayton Dockery of Leitchfield; one sister, Christine Knight of Leitchfield; seven grandchildren, Kevin and Greg Ingram both of Atlanta, GA, Melissa Kessinger of Texas, Rae, Christy, Kyle, and Amy Kessinger all of Louisville; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ustes and Leonard Dockery; two husbands, Oral Kessinger and S.E. Casey. .
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (June 21, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Tucker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
