Mildred Irene Smith, age 74, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (June 30, 2018) at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

She was born on August 7, 1943 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Carl Wilson and Stella Constant Logsdon.

She was a retired administrative assistant at Grayson Manor Nursing Home who enjoyed feeding hummingbirds, shopping yard sales, cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Lynn Schilling (Russ) of Loveland, CO and Donna Kay Koon (David) of Bowling Green, KY, her grandchildren, Jordan Renae Worley, Clayton Allen Worley, Bradley Oneil Koon, Abby Michelle Koon and Benjamin Smith Koon, two great-grandchildren, Liam Grayson Worley and Emree Faith Koon, 2 sisters, Helen Bartley and Mary Tucker both of Duff and a brother, Jim Wilson (Donna) of Duff and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Wilson.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (July 6, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Leon Joiner will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
