Obituary
Minnie Earl Cannon, age 94, of Falls of Rough KY, passed away Monday, (May 25, 2009) at her residence.
She was born on May 2, 1915, in Grayson Co, KY, the daughter of Colbie and Una Edwards Fentress. She was a housewife and was retired from the Parent and Child Center. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Kenny Cannon (Sharon) of Leitchfield, Mike Cannon (Kim) of Falls of Rough, Sharon Riordan (Mark) of Elizabethtown, KY and Tonya Sellinger of Elizabethtown, six great grandchildren, Jameson Quisenberry, Devon Hall, Wesley, Dustin, and Austin Cannon and David Riordan and three great-great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Launer Cannon and her son, Boyd Cannon.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. (May 27, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Mike Cannon will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
